We offer dubbing/voice-over services in every language by professional translators and voice artists who work solely in their native language to our clients in Toronto, Montréal, Ottawa, Québec, Calgary, Vancouver… These services can be provided for any type of video, such as advertisements and commercials, applications, movies, shows, training videos, online videos, etc.
Dubbing consists of recording dialogue, narration or scripts in a language other than the original language, usually for localization purposes. This can be done by substituting one person’s voice for the voice of another person in another language (dubbing), or simply by adding an off-camera voice in another language (voice-over).
Our dubbing/voice-over services are available for every language, such as English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Japanese, German, Korean, Italian, etc.
Our team has developed a dubbing/voice-over process consisting of 3 essential steps:
Step 1: Translating the content
The translation is done by a professional translator who specializes in the audiovisual field in question. He or she will first identify the entry and exit times for the dialogue or narration in relation to the scene breaks and then convey the meaning of the original video in the target language, all while respecting the time restrictions. During this step, the translator will analyse and evaluate which words or expressions should be retained based on what best summarizes what was said in the original video and will adapt the content as necessary for the target audience.
Step 2: Creating the audio file in the desired format
The second step consists of recording an audio file in your desired format (WAV, mp3, etc.).
We work exclusively with professional voice artists and actors who are capable of producing high-quality work that is perfectly adapted to your needs. Thanks to our network of professional voice artists from around the world, we are able to customize the audio file based on the age, gender, voice, accent or native country of the performer.
Step 3: Quality control
Once the recording of the audio file is done, the editor carefully watches the video one more time to ensure that the sound was integrated correctly and to assess the sound quality. The audio file is played with the images in order to make any necessary modifications and to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
