In general, a profesionnal translator can translate around 1500 and 2000 words a day, depending on the field of translation of your document(s), the translator’s availability, etc.
For certified translations, the turnaround time is longer because the hard copy of the translation has to be mailed. In general, the translation requires 1 to 2 business days (depending on the number of documents you have), then 2 to 3 business days for shipping, depending on Canada Post.
Yes, we do offer certified translations by certified translators, and these translations are recognized by all Canadian administrations.
When sending us your documents, please specify that you need a certified translation, as the cost may vary. The turnaround time will also be slightly longer, as we will need to ship a hard copy to you.
We normally accept files up to 10 Mb by email.
To send files larger than 10 Mb, you may use a free file transfer site, such as Wetransfer . We can also grant you access through a personalized FTP server to accommodate larger files.
If the document can be sent electronically, you may email it as an attachment to email@asiatis.ca. Please specify the language(s) of translation, the desired deadline and whether or not a certified translation is required.
If you only have a hard copy of your document and cannot scan it, you may fax it to 1-886-395-8561.
For individual customers:
At the time of the order, generally using Interac ; interac@asiatis.ca (suggested answer : “translation”).
For companies:
Upon receiving the invoice, if no other prior arrangement has been made. You will receive an electronic invoice by email shortly after having received your document. You will be able to print this invoice, where you will find all the necessary payment information. Please note that you will not receive a hard copy of this invoice by standard mail.
We require a deposit of 50% of the total price after taxes for all new clients whose orders exceed $150.00.
