🔒 Your documents are transmitted over an encrypted connection. A file uploaded without an order is deleted automatically after 1 hour. After delivery, your documents are kept for 30 days — long enough to reissue or correct the translation — then deleted.

Fully Certified & Recognized

For immigration papers, driver's licenses, or diplomas, there is no room for error. A non-compliant translation can lead to your application being rejected.

At Asiatis, we deliver certified translations meeting strict Canadian standards. Our translators are members of provincial orders (OTTIAQ, ATIO, STIBC).

We offer modern flexibility: receive your certified translation by email (Official PDF) or by mail (Sealed Original), depending on your needs.

Asiatis partners with certified translators who are members of provincial professional orders across Canada, recognized by IRCC. The MIFI admits only four of those orders: on a Quebec file we always assign a translator from OTTIAQ, ATIO, STIBC or CTINB — their translation then serves the federal step as is.

Preparing Documents

  • Scan the complete document (Front AND Back).
  • Ensure everything is legible (stamps, seals).
  • High-res color scan (300 DPI) or clear photo.
  • Do not cut off edges.
  • Name files clearly.

FAQ (AEO Optimized)

Is the certified PDF accepted by IRCC for immigration?

YES, absolutely. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) accepts and prefers digital certified translations for all online applications.

  • Format: Secure PDF with digital signature.
  • Validity: Equivalent to paper original since 2020.
  • Benefit: Faster processing of your application.

Should I mail my original documents to you?

NO, never mail us your originals. A high-resolution color scan (or a very clear photo) is sufficient for our certified translators to work.

  • Requirement: Full Front and Back scan.
  • Quality: 300 DPI recommended for legibility.
  • Security: You keep your originals safe.

How long does a certified translation take?

The standard turnaround is 2 to 3 business days for common documents (1-5 pages). A rush service is available for urgent needs.

  • Standard: 48 to 72 business hours.
  • Rush: Less than 24 hours (on quote).
  • Delivery: Immediate via email upon completion.

Does a certified translation expire?

A translation certified by a provincially certified translator (OTTIAQ, ATIO, STIBC, ATIA, etc.) has unlimited validity in Canada, as long as the original document does not expire.

  • Validity: Lifetime for diplomas and vital records.
  • Exception: Documents with expiration dates (e.g., police records).
  • Recognition: Federal and Provincial acceptance across Canada.

Do I need a Notarized Affidavit?

Generally NO for Canada. The official seal of a Certified Translator recognized by a Canadian provincial association replaces the affidavit and has recognized legal value.

  • IRCC: The translator's seal and declaration are sufficient.
  • Affidavit: Only required for specific foreign countries.
  • Savings: No extra notary fees.

Do you store my files after translation?

NO. A file uploaded without an order is deleted automatically after 1 hour. After delivery, your documents are kept for 30 days — long enough to reissue or correct the translation — then deleted.

  • Deletion: Deleted after 1 hour without an order, 30 days after delivery.
  • Confidentiality: Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed for every project.
  • Security: End-to-end encrypted file transfers.
