Do I need a certified translation for DriveTest Ontario?

A certified translation is required by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and DriveTest whenever a foreign driver's licence is not issued in English or French. The translation must reproduce the licence class, issue and expiry dates and any restriction codes, so the Ontario equivalence and driving experience can be established.

What scan quality do you need?

High-resolution colour scan (300 DPI). Both sides of the licence.

Can I avoid translation with an embassy letter?
